Interactive Canvas web part settings for modern pages

Find the Interactive Canvas web part

Add the Interactive Canvas to a page by clicking on the + and find the module in the menu. Once it is added to a page and tiles have been added to the Tile gallery, the Interactive Canvas can be created by intranet administrators.

Inserting and removing tiles

After placing the page in edit mode by clicking the pencil in the top left corner of the web part, it will be possible to add or remove tiles from an Interactive Canvas web part.

Tiles can be removed by clicking the x in the top right corner of the tile which will trigger a confirmation dialog. After the user confirms the action, the tile will be removed.

Tiles can be added by clicking the “add tile” (marked with a +) which opens the Tile Gallery. The tile added from the gallery will be placed where the add tile was clicked.

Tiles in the Gallery can be filtered either by category from the select box in the top left corner of the dialog or by searching in tile names and descriptions in the top right corner. To insert a tile, click the row to select it and then click the insert button.

Placing tiles

After placing the page in edit mode, the tiles can be rearranged by drag and drop. When one tile is being replaced, the other tiles re-flow.
