Configuring the Cafeteria Menu web part

The Cafeteria Menu web part displays menus from a cafeteria in a visually appealing design that informs users on the daily or weekly menu with images, description, and nutrition or other additional information. 
To add the Cafeteria Menu web part to a page:

1) Edit the web page and click ‘Add a web part’ to open SharePoint’s web part gallery.

2) The Cafeteria Menu web part is found in the ‘Wizdom’ folder.

Configuring the Cafeteria Menu web part

Once placed on a web page, you can configure the web part by pressing the ‘Edit’ icon.

A window with the setting options will appear.

First, select template for the web part.

Next, select whether or not you want to make a printable version of the menu available to end users.

Overview of templates for the Cafeteria Menu module

Wizdom comes with a selection of four templates that control, respectively, the online view and the print-out version of the menu.

Below, we will walk through the templates available:

Single Day Menu

The template ‘Singleday’ shows canteen menus displaying the menu one day at a time.

Full Week Menu Plan

The template ‘FullWeek’ shows the menu plan of one week. The menu of the day will be featured with larger picture and description.

Print Template, Single Day Menu

The template ‘PrintSingleday’ controls the print-out of a canteen menu printing the menu of one day.

Print Template, Full Week Menu Plan

The template ‘PrintWeek’ controls the print-out of a canteen menu printing the menu for a week.
