Templates for the Noticeboard web part for classic pages
The template named “clickList.html” presents Noticeboard news with a featured picture to the left and text box to the right. News rotate to change between focus on different news. When a news is in focus, the featured image, headline, the first few text lines of the news, publication date, and audience are shown. When a news is not in focus, only the headline is displayed.
The template named “default.html” presents Noticeboard news in a list with author name and picture, date of news, title of news, audience, a featured picture, the first lines of the news, and social features. Employing this template, the Noticeboard web part will look like this:
The template named “defaultSmall.html” presents Noticeboard news as the template “default.html”, but with no picture of the author.
The template named “defaultSmall2.html” presents Noticeboard news as the templates “defaultSmall.html”, except with a wider featured picture.
The template named “onlyHeading.html” presents Noticeboard news in a list displaying only news titles.
Eight pre-defined templates for the module control how Noticeboard news function in read and edit mode, when commenting, and when using the Noticeboard module for video, Office 365 video, and RSS feeds. Just one template comes out-of-the-box for every scenario, but, of course you can custom make your own templates for these scenarios as well.
